What is included in the price?
All permit to carry classes include range fees, targets, eye protection, and ear protection.
What if I don’t have a handgun?
Liberty Arms Training will provide the handgun and ammo needed for the conceal and carry qualification.
Can I take the class if I have never fired a gun?
Of course! We encourage this; we want everyone to learn firearm safety. The goal is to feel comfortable around guns.
Where are classes held?
In-person classes are held at the studio of Heather Ann Photography in Rosemount. The shooting range we typically use is Stock and Barrel in Eagan. Private classes can be held at a location more convenient for the group.

Do you have an online option?
Yes, we offer an online permit to carry the course. This course is perfect for renewals!
Can I fail the permit class?
There is only one way to fail; if you blatantly violate safety rules, you will fail. Our goal is to educate and work with you until you know how to handle a handgun safely.
Do you offer a multi-state permit course?
Not at this time. But your MN permit has reciprocity in 32 states in the United States.

How old must I be to attend a permit to carry course?
You must be 18 years old; your training certificate lasts one year.
Does this class give me a permit to carry?
No, you will need to apply at your local Sheriff’s Office. More information is located here.
